We are very happy & excited to run this new league. The Pokemon League is a great way for players to get together in a casual setting and make new friends, tune decks and earn cool Prizes. Please review the following info sheet as it describes what the League is about. Should you require further info, please ask the League Director. They’d be more than pleased to answer any questions you may have.
- Player must have a registered POP ID – Can be obtained from the League Organizer
- Parental Consent is required for players under the age of 13.
- Each Player receives a score card used to track points for each League Season. 10 points per loss / 20 points per win.
- Prizes are based on the number of point a player earns not the number of games won.
TCM uses the MODIFIED-CONSTRUCTED FORMAT for Organized Play
The Modified format is the standard tournament / league for Pokemon Organized Play. This format will be used at all TCM events unless specified otherwise. In a Constructed event, players arrive at the Organized Play with a 60-card deck. The cards used to build the deck come from each player’s personal collection. USE OF COUNTERFEIT CARDS IS STRICKLY PROHIBITED! POINT WILL NOT BE AWARDED TO A PLAYER FOUND USING COUNTERFEIT CARDS. It’s best to have your deck checked by a League Professor if you are unsure if your cards are counterfeit. Decks may not contain more than 4 copies of a single card, as defined by the card’s English title, with the standard exception for basic Energy cards. (20-25 Energy cards are standard in a 60-card deck). Matches are played for 6 Prize cards. Cards from the following sets are allowed:

All other sets are NOT legal for league play.
Prizes:
Players have the opportunity to earn up to four 2-Card Promo Boosters. These cards are exclusive to Pokemon Organized Play and will only be available via tournaments, leagues, and various other POP programs. Players can earn these boosters by earning points on their score card. Players will receive a booster at 110 points, 220 points, and 330 points. The final booster is awarded when a player earns his season Badge. TCM also draws a door prize every week and awards certificates for good sportsmanship.
